Text 2: when you're off the ladder
Thanks for waiting. Quick question so I come prepared: is this something that needs attention this week, or are you planning ahead?
Why it works: One easy question they can answer in a word. It tells you how urgent the job is, and it keeps them talking to you instead of shopping around.
Text 3: give them a time, not a question
I can come take a look DAY at TIME or DAY at TIME. Which works better?
Why it works: "When works for you?" makes them think. Two specific times make it a one-word answer. If neither works, they'll usually offer one back.
Make it stick
